Stash Style Spring Schedule!

Traveling seems to be an understatement lately for sure. I wanted to post some photos from the last few months shows. Stash Style began 2013 in California at the gift show and the Melrose Trading Post on Fairfax. I always love traveling toward the sunshine! My girlie Brooke kindly had me as a guest in her wonderful Boho Chic home in West Hollywood, {I felt blessed} Then it was off to the Vintage Market Place in Nashville Tn, and Indy. Both shows were great fun, and I met so many new folks on the road. The most exciting trip this spring was the long haul to Rountop Texas where we set up shop at Zapp Hall. What an adventure and such amazing fun! What can I say I’m hooked on Texas, and it was great selling some Stash to the Junk Gypsy girls, and Robin and John from Magnolia Pearl. The response in Texas was great and we are going to head back down this fall, I can’t wait. Rural Society at Warwick Farm was this past weekend and as always just a beautiful weekend on the pasture. Literally! We set up in front of the sheep stalls, and lets just say even though I have some chickens in the city, I’m going to leave the sheep heards to the folks in the country;) This is always a wonderfully attended show where I get to see all the local Ohio customers.

Stash Style will be heading down to Springfield Ohio for the Vintage Marketplace May 17th-19th and then Chicago’s Randolph Street Market. June 7th-9th is the Country Living Fair in Reinbeck NY, and I cannot wait! Ben Ashby from Folk Magazine will be there too, I think everyone should check out this new Country Living venue because I heard its amazing.

Stash Style @ the California Gift Show!

It’s so cold in Cleveland! I’m heading out to California to sell the Stash Style Gypsy Couture clothing/jewelry line at the California Gift Show. I hope to see all my west coast customers out there. On Sunday February 3rd I will be with my Carny Couture girlfriend Brook at the Melrose Trading Post, a great little flea market in Hollywood. I will post my spring show schedule when I get back from California in February. I hope everyone is having a great 2013 so far!

Stash Style is on the move! This is my crazy season, but the most exciting with all the traveling for shows. I wanted to let local Ohio customers know where you can find your “Stash” the next couple weeks…

This weekend is the first market for the Republic of Artists. This show is a series of weekend collaborations that include a patchwork of artists, designers, and independently owned businesses that carry handcrafted jewelry, fashion, home goods, artwork and gift items. The event kicks off this Thursday evening September 6th from 5-10pm for the fashion’s night out party and continues throughout the weekend Friday and Saturday 10-6, and Sunday the 9th from 12-4.

Also for the Westsiders… Stash Style will be at the Chic Unique Sale On the Square in Elyria this weekend (yes…like I said I have been busy) My dear friend Carrin Andress will have another one of her lovely sales in historic downtown Elyria. Friday September 7th 6-9pm and Saturday the 8th from 10-1. Arriving a bit early on Friday is a little tip from me to you because her wonderful painted furniture and accessories often sell out.

Don’t forget next weekend is the Country Living Fair in Columbus Ohio. I will be in booth number 52, and have been preparing for this show for months! This is a great weekend girls trip, there is so much to see and do. Stash Style Sale at the studio tomorrow!

The great big sale at the Stash Style studio ! Tomorrow evening at 5 I will be opening the door for you to hunt for treasures. I have been collecting antiques for your home and garden. Not to mention the Gypsy Couture clothing line with new t shirt designs premiering at this sale. The coolest part of all is the super shiny Airstream camper that is retro-fitted into a clothing boutique. You have to come check it out and shop out of it.

Meeting Amy & David Butler

Ever since I bought their first book Found Style I was a big fan of Amy & David Butler. I love their fabrics, yarns, and great sense of style. Years ago I saw David setting up their booth at the gift show in N.Y. but I couldn’t stop because I had to run to catch a plane back home. I was so excited when I heard they would be making an appearance at my friends shop Stitch Cleveland. Heidi and her daughter Megan own an awesome fabric and notion boutique in Lakewood Oh, and offer tons of classes. This past Saturday I grabbed my Butler books and waited in line to meet them both. They are the sweetest couple! As for me I was a little “star-struck”. They could not have been more grateful for their customers, they even brought free patterns. Such a fun way to spend my Saturday afternoon.

Summer is flying by…

Summer is just flying by! Stash Style will be hosting a sale (local to Cleveland customers) on August 16th 5-9, 17th 10-2, and 18th 10-2. There will be loads of new merchandise. I only have this sale at my studio once or twice a year so I hope everyone can make it out.

Remnants of the Past

I can’t believe Remnants of the Past is only one week away. I shipped more than 200 new pieces to California last Monday for this awesome show! I will post pictures regularly to facebook, so if you aren’t a friend to Shannon Vance or Stash Style send a request.

For my local customers, I will be set up at the Gordon Square Days at a boutique named Artful Living on June 9th. Also in July I will be at the Summer Market in Avon Lake. Until then I’m West Coast bound!
